Elimination Chamber 2024 turned out to be yet another successful and record-breaking PLE under Triple H’s regime. WWE’s return to Australia was celebrated by millions in Perth and the show turned out to be the perfect way to heat things up for WrestleMania 40.

Wrestling legend Eric Bischoff commented on this year’s PLE during an appearance on 83 Weeks, stating that he enjoyed the show throughout. However, it wasn’t up to his expectations and got him bored for few minutes. Like millions around the world, Bischoff also expected the Cody Rhodes and The Rock story to heat up more during the Grayson Waller Effect

Though this year’s show was incredible, Bischoff also revealed that he doesn’t like the concept of WWE going with two Elimination Chamber matches every year. He stated that the Chamber gets overexposed and loses its personality with two matches taking place.

The veteran also compared the Elimination Chamber matches from the past to this year’s show and found the former very unique and interesting. After witnessing this year’s matches, he didn’t find the Chamber very dangerous, as it looked like in the past.

“I don’t like it. I don’t know if switching it up is the answer necessarily. But I do feel like is that it overexposes the idea of the Chamber, and the Chamber loses its personality. The Chamber has a character in the show. It’s just like the audience’s character. In this case, the gimmick is a character, the cage is character…And there’s something about that pale blue ring apron and the white ring ropes, it just makes it feel awful sanitized to me. I don’t know, it just didn’t feel dangerous.”

While Bischoff seems to be satisfied with this year’s Elimination Chamber matches, millions around the world have shown enjoyment and excitement. With the PLE officially in the books, fans await the action that might unfold at WrestleMania 40.
