Dwayne Johnson Set to Rock the Stage as Presenter at 2024 Academy Awards

The Rock is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the history of not just professional wrestling but Hollywood as well. Therefore, it comes as no surprise has been confirmed as one of the presenters for the 2024 Academy Awards.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Rock and Bad Bunny join a star-studded lineup of presenters for the Academy Awards, including Michael Keaton, Jennifer Lawrence, John Mulaney, Jamie Lee Curtis, Brendan Fraser, Matthew McConaughey, Al Pacino, Zendaya, Sam Rockwell, and Michelle Yeoh.

Oppenheimer, directed by Christopher Nolan, tops this year’s nominations with 13 nods, trailed by Poor Things by Yorgos Lanthimos with 11, Killers of the Flower Moon by Martin Scorsese with 10, and Greta Gerwig’s Barbie with eight. The awards ceremony, hosted by Jimmy Kimmel, is set for March 10 at 7 pm ET at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles.

The Rock also has other projects lined up for him, but his current focus remains on the Road to WrestleMania 40, as he is set to appear on this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown. It remains to be seen what his appearance will entail on the show this week.
