AEW fulfilled its promise of a surprise signing at Full Gear 2023, revealing none other than Will Ospreay. He finally made his return to AEW and is now a full-time performer there. In light of this, Ospreay’s direction in AEW after Revolution has been revealed.

As seen on this week’s episode of AEW Dynamite, Will Ospreay, addressed the enthusiastic fans in Huntsville, Alabama, recalling his past successes in AEW against stars like Chris Jericho and Orange Cassidy. His in-ring moment was interrupted by the Don Callis family, who officially welcomed him to All Elite Wrestling.

The family, led by Don Callis, hyped the upcoming mega showdown between Ospreay and Konosuke Takeshita at AEW Revolution this Sunday, emphasizing it as one of the company’s biggest matches. Tensions rose between Ospreay and Takeshita, nearly resulting in a confrontation before being diffused by other members of the Don Callis family.

According to Sean Ross Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, it was reported that while Will Ospreay is currently aligned with the Don Callis family, he will not be in the faction for long.

”Will Ospreay is currently aligned with the Don Callis family, but sources don’t expect him to be with the heel faction for long.”

Will Ospreay will be squaring off against Konosuke Takeshita at the AEW Revolution pay-per-view, which will be his first bout as a full-time AEW star. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see when Ospreay will become a babyface in AEW.
