The wrestling world has shaken up since the news of Ole Anderson’s death surfaced on the internet. In recent post on Instagram, Ricky Morton announced that the NWA Hall of Famer had passed away at the age of 81, sending condolences to his family and friends.

Ole Anderson was one of the founding members of the iconic stable, the Four Horsemen, and was known for his Independent circuit appearances across the world. With numerous NWA Championship wins throughout his career, Anderson was also inducted into the WCW Hall of Fame in 1994.

Since the news of his passing hit the internet, fans and his fellow friends have been sending their condolences and reviving their best memory of Anderson on social media. WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair, who was also a member of the Four Horsemen and a very good friend of Anderson, took to X revealing that the late star was one of the very few men who helped Flair kick his career off.

I Am Forever Thankful To Ole And Gene For Bringing Me In To Crockett Promotions As A Cousin. It Launched My Career. I Will Be Grateful Forever For You Giving Me The Opportunity To Become Who I Am Today. We Didn’t Always Agree With Each Other, But The Honest To God Truth Is You & Gene Started Me. Rest In Peace My Friend!”
