AEW is gearing up to present the fifth annual edition of AEW Revolution, emanating from the Greensboro Coliseum in North Carolina this Sunday. But the status of their top star, Adam Page seems to be up in the air for the show despite being slated for a huge match.

Hangman Adam Page is currently scheduled to participate in a three-way bout involving himself, Swerve Strickland, and Samoa Joe for his AEW World championship.

However, AEW reportedly used an injury angle during the recent edition of AEW Dynamite leading to fans speculating about Hangman’s status for AEW’s upcoming pay-per-view.

Another report stated that it could be another way to book Page out of the Revolution card. However, during the recent edition of Fightful Select‘s Backstage Report podcast, Sean Ross Sapp noted it was a touch-and-go situation for the former AEW World champion.

Sean Ross Sapp stated that the company could use the injury angle to write him out of AEW Revolution if it became necessary, but still hoped that Adam Page would be able to wrestle in his high-stakes bout.

“There is a sort of touch-and-go situation that may see him ending up not being able to work the Revolution show. If that’s the case, then they can use this as a reason. The hope is that he’ll be good to go for it as well. However it was a carefully-crafted work and well done. “

AEW Revolution has already announced a major line-up for the show with The Icon Sting wrestling the final match of his historic career. As far as Adam Page’s situation is concerned, we will have to wait and see how the story unfolds with Revolution only a week away now.

Do you think Adam Page would be able to wrestle at AEW Revolution? Is his injury angle legit or just in the storyline? Sound off in the comments!
