Kenny Omega To Play Host To 2/28’s Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth Launch Stream

Kenny Omega is considered a pioneer in the business of professional wrestling. Despite finding himself on the sidelines due to a major illness, Omega is keeping his spirit by pursuing ventures outside the squared circle.

As it is known, Omega was set to pursue the AEW World tag team titles with his partner, Chris Jericho before he was diagnosed with diverticulitis. Moreover, it was reported that his disease was life-threatening but AEW President Tony Khan stated that he was doing better.

The One Winged Angel indeed looked better during his recent participation in the GameSpot video, sharing his thoughts on ‘Yakuza Like A Dragon: Infinite Wealth.’

Following that, Omega took to his X to once again announce his involvement in another non-wrestling activity. He stated that he would be hosting the Final Fantasy VII: Rebirth Launch stream with Naomi Kyle on February 28.

“Very excited to announce that I’ll be hosting the Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth launch stream! The One Winged Angel is coming. @SquareEnix @finalfantasyvii#FF7R.”

In fact, Final Fantasy VII, which has been credited as one of the best JRPGs of all time, is also the game whose theme music name was borrowed by Kenny Omega himself i.e. the One Winged Angel. Therefore, it would be interesting to see him host the festivities as he continues to recuperate from his illness.
