The first SmackDown after the monumental WWE Elimination Chamber in Perth, Australia will also take place on the first day of a new month with two exciting matches already set in stone for next week’s show.

As seen for weeks, the problems between the LWO and their former member-turned-foe Santos Escobar and his crew, Legado Del Fantasma have been at the forefront of the blue brand.

It was announced that LWO member and WWE veteran Carlito would square off against Santos Escobar in a physically battering Street Fight. Tensions have been running wild between the two factions and this could be an opportunity for Carlito and Escobar to settle the differences when no rules would apply to the battlefield.

On the other hand, the ongoing civil war between members of the Damage CTRL is yet another prevalent storyline on Friday Nights. This week on SmackDown, Dakota Kai was revealed to be attacked by WWE Women’s champion IYO Sky, Asuka, and Kairi Sane backstage.

She was consoled by the former leader of the group, Bayley who was the aforementioned trio’s main foe and the prime reason for Dakota’s suffering. Yet, she still chose to be on Bayley’s side, with an explosive tag team between the duo and WWE Women’s tag team champions Asuka and Kairi Sane also announced for next week’s edition of SmackDown.
