Austin Theory remains one of the highlights of WWE programming, especially after all the insane risks he took to ensure a match goes well. This includes an insane spot with Brock Lesnar a couple of years ago, as Theory felt the spot could have ended his career.

In 2022, Vince McMahon heavily promoted Austin Theory on WWE’s main roster. This push resulted in the star participating in high-profile matches against notable names in the promotion.

At the 2022 WWE Elimination Chamber Premium Live Event, Austin Theory competed for the WWE Championship in an Elimination Chamber match. He was the last one to be eliminated in the match after Brock Lesnar hit an F5 on Theory from the top of a pod and finished him off and became the WWE Champion.

While speaking to The West Sport, Austin Theory talked about his past Elimination Chamber matches. In the conversation, Theory revealed that the perilous spot with Brock Lesnar at the top of the chamber had the potential to end his career.

“To be honest, there’s nothing more dangerous in the WWE than the Elimination Chamber. And, I think I’m the perfect man to answer that question. If you take it back to my first Elimination Chamber for the WWE Championship, I was one of the last competitors left in there. But, I was with Brock Lesnar and I got F5’d off the top of the chamber. And, I could’ve nearly ended my career there.”

Speaking of dangerous spots, Austin Theory recently decided to retire move that resulted in his concussion last month on Friday Night SmackDown. We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for Theory as we head towards WrestleMania 40.
