Tony Schiavone has been considered as one of the most respected wrestling veterans of the business for years. Nowadays, he finds himself calling the action for Tony Khan’s All Elite Wrestling as a commentator and even pulling duties as a backstage interviewer.

Despite enjoying his time in AEW, Schiavone also made an interesting revelation recently. During recent edition of the “WHW” podcast, Tony stated that there are small issues that bug him in AEW even when he is really into what he is doing at the moment.

“There’s some things that bug me, some little things that bug me, but other than that I’m really into what we’re doing,”

Furthermore, he went on to credit current AEW star Eddie Kingston and the Forbidden Door format started by the company to gain more exposure and insight into the Japanese wrestling circuit.

“I’m more exposed now to the wrestling that they had in Japan than I ever was. Thanks to the Forbidden Door, and also thanks to Eddie Kingston being with us and showing me some of this.”

Tony Schiavone recently got into an altercation with the AEW EVPs, The Young Bucks on last week’s Dynamite, leading to being fined and almost being attacked by them before Darby Allin made the save. So it would be interesting to see if he chooses to address the issue this week or let it go by him.

Do you think Tony Schiavone would prove to be a long-time fixture for AEW despite the little issues he mentioned? Sound off in the comments!
