Belief That The Rock Would Destroy Cody Rhodes on The Mic

The Rock made headlines after Cody Rhodes temporarily gave him his WrestleMania 40 spot, but things changed after the WrestleMania press conference. The two are at odds with each other right now and in light of this, some believe that The Rock would destroy Cody Rhodes on the mic.

The Rock is arguably the greatest communicator in the history of professional wrestling. His remarkable microphone skills opened doors in Hollywood over two decades ago, propelling him to immense success.

While speaking on Busted Open Radio, WWE Hall of Famer Bully Ray talked about how Cody Rhodes should deal with The Rock. He then stated that The Rock would annihilate Rhodes on the microphone.

“The way Cody defeats The Rock, if The Rock becomes entirely too entertaining. And it’s coming over the top of Cody. The last thing Cody should do is to try to match The Rock on the mic. It’s not happening. Rocky will absolutely destroy Cody on the mic. That’s not because Cody’s not good on the mic, it’s just that it’s The Rock and he’s superior.”

We will have to wait and see how WWE will continue to book Cody Rhodes as we head towards WrestleMania 40. After all, it is inevitable that The Rock and Cody Rhodes will clash multiple times within the coming weeks.
