Two Major Announcements Made For 2/27 Episode of WWE NXT

WWE NXT has been delivering one of the most enthralling television programming in recent memory as the road to WrestleMania 40 is in full force with two major announcements made on tonight’s edition for the next show.

NXT Champion Ilja Dragunov will make his return to the black and gold brand to confront the menacing Carmelo Hayes. The Mad Dragon was taken out by Hayes following his encounter with Trick Williams few weeks ago.

Moreover, Hayes made it clear then and even on tonight’s edition of NXT that he aims to reclaim the NXT championship once again, currently in the possession of Dragunov.

Ilja Dragunov surely did not look intimidated by Carmelo’s statement and vowed that he was coming after his soul next week. So it would be an explosive segment to witness these two face-to-face inside the ring.

Furthermore, NXT Heritage Cup winner Noam Dar would defend his prestigious cup against one member of the No Quarter Catch Crew. Whether it will be Drew Gulak, Charlie Dempsey, Damon Kemp, or Myles Borne is yet to be decided, Dar would have to be ready for everything and anything to protect his Heritage Cup.
