Montez Ford Reveals Definite Desire to Compete in UFC

Montez Ford is one of the most beloved WWE Superstars right now, whose insane athleticism has prompted fans to wonder if he has a future in the UFC. In light of such speculation, Ford has now revealed if he wants to compete in the UFC.

The prospect of WWE Superstars making their way to the UFC battleground is not something new, as the likes of CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley have all ventured into the world of MMA.

While speaking to TNT Sports, Montez Ford was asked if he has UFC aspirations. The former WWE Tag Team Champion made it clear he is 100% interested in stepping foot inside the Octagon.

”100% I will say, I’ve always been a fan of it, always been training for it. It is something I was talking about in the last two years about actually going over and having a match, seeing CM Punk, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley, doing different promotions. Something I had interest in but it got shut down quickly by um, coughs.”

Montez Ford and Bianca Belair were also spotted at UFC 298. Nevertheless, only time will tell whether Ford will actually be able to compete in the UFC one day. With WWE and UFC being under the TKO umbrella, the possibility is certainly there.
