CM Punk sustained a triceps injury at the Royal Rumble, casting uncertainty on his participation in WrestleMania 40. Regrettably, he won’t be able to compete at the event. Currently in recovery post-surgery, Punk shared a glimpse of his stitches following the triceps injury.

CM Punk’s announcement on last month’s Monday Night RAW confirmed his legitimate injury, shattering hopes of him headlining WrestleMania 40. It was reported that he would be out of action for 4-6 months following surgery.

Punk would then give an update on his condition, one week after triceps surgery, as he has already begun his rehabilitation journey. The Second City Saint took to his Instagram story and showed off a graphic photo of his stitched triceps.

CM Punk’s abandoned WWE plans before his injury were also revealed. We will have to wait and see what WWE will have planned for Punk once he makes his triumphant in-ring return.
