Iconic WWE Tag Team Set for Reunion in the Ring at Joey Janela’s Spring Break 8

Former AEW star Joey Janela became a promising star in Tony Khan’s company and recently revealed that he had some big plans for the upcoming rendition of his self-named event ‘Joey Janela’s Spring Break.

The event is scheduled for its eighth edition and would see a legendary WWE tag team reuniting for one more match. Robert Gibson and Ricky Morton, members of the Hall of Fame team, The Rock N Roll Express will come back for the event.

They will join forces with Kenny Morton to battle the team of East West Express (Nick Wayne and Jordan Oliver) and Mike Bailey in a six-person tag team match. The match is scheduled to happen at Penn’s Landing in Philadelphia on Friday, April 5.

The former AEW star expressed his excitement on X about booking the match that will see a younger vs legendary team compete against each other at his Spring Break event.

“We had to make this one happen! Thank you for buying tickets for my show and selling it out! We ain’t even close to being finished, this will be the best spring break of all time! The Rock N Roll express reunites for SPRING BREAK.”

With Robert and Ricky coming back for another dance inside the squared circle, it will interesting to see this legendary team compete and see if they still have it after so many years.
