Indian Film Star Weighs on The Rock’s Heel Turn

The WWE Universe brought out the dark side of their People’s champion, The Rock after bluntly rejecting him in favor of their hero, Cody Rhodes for a main event title match at WrestleMania 40.

The Great One was seen to be more aggressive than ever during the WrestleMania kick-off press event at the T-Mobile arena in Las Vegas. Moreover, he even smacked Cody right across the face when he seemingly fired a shot at the legendary Anoa’i family.

While the fans are seemingly enjoying the heel side of the 10-time WWE champion, a popular Indian film star has also decided to join that bandwagon. It is none other than one of the biggest fans of The Rock from India, Varun Dhawan.

The Bollywood star took to his Instagram to post about his feelings seeing the popularly termed ‘Hollywood Rock.’ Varun mentioned that The Rock’s bad-guy persona was one of the reasons Dhawan became his fan. Moreover, he even reminisced on The Rock’s Nation of Domination days when he truly started to gain momentum.

“Heel rock is the reason I became a fan of u. Nation of domination the way Rocky maviaa began to take over wwe.”

The Rock and his cousin, Roman Reigns are set to appear live on next week’s edition of Friday Night SmackDown after Triple H made the WrestleMania 40 main event official.
