Belief Trick Williams Could Main Event WrestleMania 41

WWE’s NXT roster features numerous talents on the verge of stardom, and Trick Williams is one of them. He has displayed considerable development, carving out a reputation for himself and emerging as a standout on NXT. Now it appears Booker T believes Williams could main event WrestleMania 41 next year.

Carmelo Hayes’ friendship with Trick WIlliams was one of the best things about NXT but he ultimately betrayed him at NXT Vengeance Day, setting up their feud and effectively starting their singles run as well.

While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T expressed high praise for Trick Williams, stating that he believes Trick is destined for significant success in the wrestling business. Highlighting Trick’s impressive performance at Vengeance Day, Booker T emphasized Trick’s potential.

“Do I think he’s a guy that’s gonna do a hell of a lot in this business? Oh, yes, I think he’s gonna do a hell of a lot. But Trick Williams, that kid? After what I saw at Vengeance Day, [he] showed up, showed out.”

“How matches has Trick had on live television? How many has Carmelo had? [Brad Gilmore notes he’s had many more] Exactly my point.”

Trick Williams compared Trick’s TV appearances to those of Carmelo, indicating Trick’s standout qualities. Booker T confidently stated that he can recognize talent and sees Trick Williams as someone who could potentially main event WrestleMania next year, distinguishing him from others in the industry.

“I’m gonna tell you, I can spot talent. I can see when somebody getting ready to get the rocket put on them and get sent straight to the moon.”

“Look here, Trick, this kid could be main eventing WrestleMania next year. Am I gonna say that about ‘Melo? Hell no. I like this kid, he’s a good kid. But so is my next-door neighbor,”

Even WWE sees Trick Williams as WrestleMania main event potential. We will have to wait and see if he will eventually main event WrestleMania, but Williams currently has to content with Carmelo Hayes.
