Cody Rhodes’ fate was seemingly sealed this week on SmackDown, in regards to finishing his story at WrestleMania 40. But his loyal fanbase bounced back with a thunderous backlash, even to the point of flooding important every social media profile including NXT talents.

WWE NXT star Dijak took to his X to fire back at the Cody Rhodes supporters, for invading every possible comment section that included the talented superstars of WWE’s developmental territory, NXT.

“I’m not talking about my stuff because honestly I couldn’t care less, but if you’re going to hijack a comments section in support of Cody maybe stick to the relevant ones because flooding the posts about young excited NXT talents just sends the wrong message.”

The American Nightmare announced on SmackDown that he would not be cashing his Royal Rumble victory against Roman Reigns at WrestleMania 40. It was right after that the fans saw the return of The Rock, who charged towards the ring.

He stood face-to-face with his cousin, Roman Reigns, potentially indicating the dream match fans have been waiting to see for a long time at WrestleMania. However, the timing for this mega showdown is evidently wrong as the wrestling fans have been vocal in seeing Cody Rhodes in that spot instead of The Most Electrifying Man in All of Entertainment.

With fans hell-bent on seeking justice for Cody, going to lengths, and invading every relevant social media profile as Dijak pointed out, we will have to wait and see what happens next on this turbulent Road to WrestleMania.

Do you think Cody Rhodes will be inserted back into the WrestleMania main event? Sound off in the comments!
