Rhea Ripley Admits Things Were Initially Awkward With Dominik Mysterio

Rhea Ripley is most certainly one of the top female WWE Superstars right now and she has garnered a major fanbase thanks to her dominating presence. She also has a lot of love for her Dom Dom and now Ripley admitted that things were initially awkward between herself and Dominik Mysterio.

Rhea Ripley and Dominik Mysterio’s playful relationship continues to capture fan attention in a big way. Some fans simply couldn’t help but ship the two in real life as well last year.

While speaking during her recent appearance on the Notsam Wrestling podcast, Ripley was asked about her chemistry with Dominik Mysterio and whether it developed almost immediately after they were paired together.

“No, not really,” replied Ripley when questioned about an immediate bond with Dominik. “It was actually quite awkward to start with. We hadn’t really talked to each other much before. I mean, it was a simple like, ‘Hello, how are you?’ every now and then when we saw each other. But apart from that, I mean, we didn’t really have a conversation until I started choking him out with my legs, and he fell madly in love with me. I don’t blame him.”

Rhea Ripley further mentioned that her chemistry with Dominik Mysterio improved as they spent more time together, both in and out of the ring. The Women’s World Champion highlighted a strong bond not only between her and Mysterio but among the entire Judgment Day team.

“But, I don’t know, it sort of just grew more and more we were on-screen together. I mean, you end up spending more time with the people you work with and the people that you surround yourself with. We travel together, we work together, we are a family, so it was only a matter of time before that bond sort of grew with all of us, not just between Dom and I, but with all of us.”

Rhea Ripley also liked a fan art where she and Dominik Mysterio were getting intimate. Their relationship has somewhat simmered down in the sense that they don’t make headlines much anymore, which some fans feel is for the best.
