Jim Ross is a very popular name in the world of professional wrestling. He has been around the business for six decades and covered some of the biggest matches in the business.

Although Ross made a name for himself in WWE, he has since moved on and currently makes sporadic appearances for AEW in a commentary position for some of the big matches.

Now that Ross is at the tail end of his career, he can take it easy. However, his health seems to be a cause of concern for him currently. Ross recently took to social media to reveal that he had just undergone surgery for cancer on his right hip. He also stated that everything went well and he thanked the fans for their love and support.

“Had cancer surgery this morning on my right hip. All went well. Thanks for all your love & support!”
