Nic Nemeth was a mainstay on WWE television for many years. He started his career in the mid-2000s and quickly rose through the ranks to become one of the top performers in the company.

Despite being a really good in-ring performer, Nemeth wasn’t used to his full potential in the ring and was almost always on the losing end in his matches. Although he was a former World Champion, it felt like WWE had no use for him and he was eventually released from the company last year.

Following his release, Nic Nemeth showed up at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom this year and even made an appearance at TNA. He recently did an interview with Chris Jericho on the Talk is Jericho podcast where he revealed that he had heat with Vince McMahon because Pat Patterson was constantly pitching to Vince on his behalf.

“Let me squash that rumor, because it’s a fact.”

Nic Nemeth continued to say Pat Patterson was pitching ideas about him that they were making him lose just to see Pat Patterson’s face.

“It got to a point where he was pitching for me so much for years that the second highest [executive] that there could be in a meeting at that point was like, ‘Yeah, we’re just to a point where we’re just making you lose just to watch his face.’ And I go, ‘Oh, that’s not a great way to run the company.’”

Now that Nemeth has been released into the wild, it will be interesting to see if it’s not too late for him to revive his career again in this exciting new chapter of his life.
