The WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event has already garnered a ton of hype as the company always plans some surprise entrants in store for the event every year. Now, Booker T has revealed if he will compete at the Royal Rumble this week.
The WWE Royal Rumble Premium Live Event will be taking place on January 27, 2024, at Tropicana Field, St. Petersburg, Florida, and is majorly hyped for its tradition of thrilling surprise entrances.
While speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T discussed the possibility of a Royal Rumble return. He expressed his readiness for the opportunity. He mentioned that he’s been actively checking his emails and phone for an invitation, and he’s in the best shape of his life, putting in extra training at the gym.
Booker T made it clear that he is on call and prepared to make that walk down in St. Petersburg, Florida. He emphasized his commitment by stating that he’s not even taking messages from anyone without a 203 area code. Booker T will be in town for the Kickoff Show, and he’s packing his extra bag with his iconic white tights and boots, signaling his eagerness for a potential WWE return.
“[Starts stretching] I’m stretching right now man. I’ve been checking my email, I’ve been checking my gmail to see if the invitation has come through. But like I said, I’m in the best shape of my life, y’all. I’ve been training, I’ve been hitting the gym harder than I’ve ever hit it before. I’m serious, man. I’m serious on this. So if they need an extra man, if they need me to make that walk just one time going down in St. Petersburg, Florida, oh yeah, man. I will be ready, willing and able to get the job done, guys.”
”So look here, I’m on call. I got my text messages. I’m not even taking any more messages. If anybody else text me, I’m not even gonna look. If it didn’t have a 203 area code, I’m not gonna even answer. So look here, I’m available. I’m gonna be in town for the Kickoff Show. One thing about the wrestler, he always make sure he brings his extra bag with him. So look here, the white tights, the white boots, they gonna be in the bag. So look here man, WWE, the boy is ready.”
”Don’t sleep on St. Petersburg, Florida, and your boy Booker T stepping out to the ring just one more time. I got my phone, and I’m checking my emails, and I’m checking them twice because your boy want another shot. I’m just saying.”
We will have to wait and see whether Booker T will compete in the Royal Rumble match this year, as fans received his appearance last year well. He would certainly be a solid addition to the match, should it happen.
