The pro wrestling world lost a great man when Jay Briscoe passed away tragically. This week on AEW Dynamite, Tony Khan devoted some time to his memory.

This week’s episode of AEW Dynamite was quite night, and they set up another match for the Revolution pay-per-view. They also paid tribute to someone we all lost one year ago today.

Jay Briscoe tragically died in a car wreck one year ago today. This was remembered on AEW Dynamite this week just before the second hour of the show started.

Mark Briscoe came out and he addressed fans. He talked about losing his brother, and then he said that Jay’s daughters were in that car too. Mark then went on to say that the doctor told his niece that she wouldn’t walk again.

This was followed by Mark Briscoe bringing his nieces out, and they were walking without assistance. This was a bittersweet moment, as they hugged and were happy to celebrate the life of Jay Briscoe, but it would have been so much better with him around.

We will keep our eye on this story and many more to see what happens next. AEW is certainly celebrating Jay Briscoe’s life, and this was a nice nod to a fallen legend.
