WWE rolled tough Lincoln, Nebraska this week, but last week they were in Vancouver for their News Year’s Revolution special. It seems that Chelsea Green was supposed to compete on that show, but it didn’t happen.

Chelsea Green is a proud Canadian, and Vancouver is her original home. Those fans were supposed to get a chance to see her compete, but it didn’t happen in the end. As of this writing, it’s unclear why the switch was made.

Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that Chelsea Green was supposed to compete in a dark match after SmackDown last week. That match was changed, and Green didn’t get to wrestle in her hometown after all. Bianca Belair wrestled in her place.

Chelsea Green was originally listed to face Bayley on last week’s Smackdown post-show dark match in Chelsea’s hometown, but it was changed to Bianca Belair. We weren’t given a reason as to why.

Chelsea Green has a lot of potential, and it stands to reason that fans in her hometown would want to see her compete. Sadly, they will have to wait to see the former WWE Women’s Tag Team Champion wrestle again.
