Dolph Ziggler was released from WWE back in September and he used his time wisely after his release. Known for his stand-up comedy skills, Ziggler has now joined an upcoming comedy film.
The former WWE Superstar focused on performing in some comedy shows alongside his brother Ryan Nemeth after his WWE firing and this in turn led to him bagging a role in a comedy movie as well.
Ziggler took to Twitter and revealed that he is part of the comedy film ‘Drugstore June’ alongside the likes of Esther Povitsky, Bill Burr and others. Ziggler made it clear he was happy to be part of the movie.
According to the movie’s IMDB page, Ziggler portrays the role of a deliveryman. The film is a new comedy directed by Nicholaus Goossen and written by Goossen and Esther Povitsky.
The movie includes guest appearances by a variety of comedians and musicians, such as Bhad Bhabie, Jonathan Park (Dumbfoundead), Lincoln Kolly, and Patricia Williams (Ms. Pat). According to Screen Rant, the film is set to release in theaters on February 23rd, so we’ll have to see how the film will turn out.
