Bryan Danielson has been officially confirmed for an upcoming New Japan Pro-Wrestling event. It appears that Danielson has another dream match in him before he ends his final year as a full-time performer.

One dream matchup took place at AEW WrestleDream in October 2023, where Danielson faced off against NJPW’s Zack Sabre Jr. Now, they will run it again, but in NJPW this time. The rematch has now been officially scheduled, with NJPW announcing that it will take place at The New Beginning in Osaka show on February 11th.

NJPW released a preview for this match. It seems like they are giving Zack Sabre Jr vs Bryan Danielson the proper amount of attention.

After ZSJ seemed to take Danielson’s mantle as the best technical wrestler in the world, a long overdue singles reunion between the two took place last September at AEW’s Wrestle Dream card.

Yet although the American Dragon was successful that night, he picked up victory with a knockout blow in the form of the Busaiku Knee.

Sabre has maintained that Danielson is unable to tap him out, and has insisted he will be the one to do so in Osaka. Just who can finally lay sole claim to the world’s best technician?

Bryan Danielson won his first encounter with Zack Sabre Jr, securing the win with his Busaiku Knee. Zack Sabre Jr wasn’t thrilled about how that turned out, claiming that Danielson took the cheap way out by winning via pinfall.

Recently, Zack Sabre issued a challenge for a rematch during the January 5th New Year Dash show. Now, fans won’t have to wait too awfully long to see those two collide in the ring again.
