Tyler Bate has been part of the WWE family for seven years but always remained in NXT without a main roster call up. That changed after he made his debut on SmackDown this week and now Bate has confirmed his future plans following his debut.

On the January 5th episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Butch needed a partner against Pretty Deadly. He got help from none other than Tyler Bate, as the two squared off against Pretty Deadly in a tag team match.

Tyler Bate played a crucial role in securing a victory for his friend by executing a double Tyler Driver. Many fans wondered whether Tyler Bate’s debut on SmackDown was a one-off appearance or a permanent thing.

WWE uploaded a video of Tyler Bate after their match, where the former NXT UK Champion confirmed that he was going to be a permanent member of the Friday Night SmackDown brand going forward.
