WWE has signed several people who have a ton of potential. Gable Steveson has incredible potential to be a breakout star for WWE, and he got a bit more time in the ring before SmackDown’s New Year’s Revolution episode.

We previously reported that Gable Steveson was spotted in Vancouver this week before SmackDown. Some fans wondered where he would pop up next, and it just so happened to go down tonight.

Gable Steveson was a part of the pre-show this evening before WWE SmackDown. He took on Cedric Alexander. This was quite a surprise for fans in Vancouver.

Gable Steveson hasn’t wrestled very much for WWE, but the company obviously has plans for the Olympic Gold Medalist. He is certainly getting a lot of heat right now, as he brought on chants of “You’re not Angle” from fans when he took on Baron Corbin at NXT’s Great American Bash.
