WWE concluded 2023 on a remarkable note with its highly successful Holiday Tour, which garnered acclaim as a smash hit. Triple H, the Head of Talent & Creative, proudly touted this achievement, showcasing the promotion’s prowess.

The eight-night tour commenced on December 26 with WWE’s annual event at the iconic Madison Square Garden in New York City. Simultaneously, WWE hosted an event in Baltimore, Maryland on the same night. The tour spanned several cities, including Boston, Montreal, State College, Detroit, Houston, Toronto, and Las Vegas, culminating at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles.

Notably, WWE’s return to Madison Square Garden during this tour witnessed the highest gate revenue for any non-televised event in the promotion’s history. This historic show featured the long-awaited return of CM Punk to the WWE ring, marking his first match with the company since the 2014 Royal Rumble.

Triple H took to Twitter to share even more impressive statistics from the recent Holiday Tour. He revealed that out of the eight shows on the tour, four were sold-out events, while eight out of the ten total events set new records for gate revenue in their respective arenas.

“In addition to #WWEMSG becoming the highest-grossing domestic non-televised WWE live event of all time, @WWE ’s Holiday Tour broke records in markets across North America.”

“What a way to cap off 2023. Grateful to each and every Superstar, crew member and the @WWEUniverse for making this possible.”

With this tour now etched in the annals of WWE history, the promotion’s focus shifts to an exciting week of programming. It begins with a special ‘Day 1’ edition of Raw, followed by NXT New Year’s Evil the following night. On Friday, WWE will present its ‘New Year’s Revolution’ edition of SmackDown. The excitement continues as WWE gears up for the Royal Rumble on January 27, followed by the Elimination Chamber event in Perth, Australia in February, leading to the grand spectacle of WrestleMania 40 in April.
