Charlotte Flair is the Queen of WWE, who has cemented herself as one of the all-time greats already. Her in-ring prowess and star power have left an indelible mark on the wrestling world. However, she has been sent back home after suffering a recent knee injury.

On the December 8th episode of WWE SmackDown, Charlotte Flair stepped into the ring against Asuka in a highly anticipated matchup. With Damage CTRL present ringside, the bout could have gone either way. That said, The Queen fell lost to The Empress of Tomorrow after Bayley interfered in the match.

What followed raised concerns among fans and WWE talent alike. Reports started circulating that Charlotte Flair might have sustained an injury during the match. In a distressing moment, she was seen clutching her knee and crying out, “My knee!” Medical personnel rushed to her side after the match, making fans genuinely worry about her well-being.

According to PWInsider, Charlotte Flair has been sent back home to Florida and it is unlikely she will return to the ring until she is completely evaluated medically. She is also removed from the road until WWE gets to know the proper nature of her injury.

PWInsider.com has confirmed that Charlotte Flair has returned home to Florida.

WWE sources have indicated that she is not expected back in the ring until she is completely evaluated medically. She has been pulled off the road until the company gets confirmation on the nature of the injury.  We are told the company is working on setting that up right now.

Flair is believed to have injured her knee and struck her head while slipping from the top rope while wrestling Asuka on Friday Night Smackdown.”

Video footage of the botch that might have injured Charlotte Flair has also been revealed. She was also pulled from last week’s WWE live events. Only time will tell whether The Queen ended up suffering serious injury and will require time off. We will keep you updated on her condition right here at Ringside News.
