WWE Announcer Poised for a Significant Career Promotion

Vic Joseph had been calling NXT matches alongside Wade Barrett since 2020 but is now partnered up with Booker T following Barrett’s transfer to the main roster. Now it appears he is in line for a major promotion soon.

Vic Joseph joined WWE in May 2017, initially working on Main Event and later adding commentary duties for 205 Live a month later. He expanded his contributions to include NXT UK. However, his most significant achievement came on September 30, 2019, when he was appointed as the play-by-play commentator for WWE RAW.

Vic Joseph’s time on the main roster concluded four months later as he transitioned from RAW to become the lead commentator for NXT on August 12, 2020. Starting from October 11, 2022, he has been joined by Booker T in the announce booth.

According to PWInsider, Vic Joseph will be getting a promotion as he will shouldering more responsibilities next year. It was added that he got a lot of props for his work with Booker T on NXT. They are also set to remain as NXT’s commentary team for their move to The CW network next year.

Vic Joseph’s father also passed away earlier this year. Regardless, Vic Joseph will continue to do good work for WWE and he is finally getting the results fans feel he deserves.
