LA Knight made a significant impression after his debut at NXT TakeOver: Vengeance Day on February 14th, 2021. Knight lost to Roman Reigns at Crown Jewel, but that doesn’t mean he is done with Reigns, as he once again went after Reigns during a WWE live event.
LA Knight was unable to defeat Roman Reigns at WWE Crown Jewel last month, but he has been regularly featured on WWE television in a feud with Grayson Waller and Austin Theory.
During the recent WWE live event in Utica, LA Knight and Kevin Owens squared off against Jimmy Uso and Solo Sikoa. Following Knight’s win, he cut a promo addressing Roman Reigns, CM Punk and Randy Orton. Knight ordered Punk and Orton to get in line to get a piece of Reigns, as he will be the first one to go after The Tribal Chief.
”There’s talk about common enemies and up shows up CM Punk. And then Randy Orton shows up. And all I hear is everybody got it in them for Roman Reigns. Here’s how it goes down, if Roman Reigns finds a tingle in his loins to show up, he’s got a lot of people looking for him, cause guess what boys? CM Punk, Randy Orton and everybody else – you get to get in line.”
WWE also believes LA Knight has capped his popularity in the company and needs to develop a deeper connection with fans. We will have to wait and see whether LA Knight will eventually get another shot at Roman Reigns, as fans feel he more than deserves it.
