Ex-WWE Writer Calls Out Sami Zayn for ‘Slob’ Appearance

Sami Zayn has been working in WWE for a decade now and when it comes to perfecting storylines – Zayn truly was in a league of his own for a long time. His involvement in The Bloodline angle catapulted him to a level he had never reached before. That said, a former WWE writer called out Zayn for his slob-like appearance.

Zayn has established himself as one of the top babyfaces in the wrestling business as fans simply can’t help but get behind the Underdog from The Underground. 2023 has also been a career highlight for Zayn in many ways.

While speaking on The Brand, former WWE writer Vince Russo talked about Sami Zayn’s presentation on WWE television, stating that Sami Zayn simply looks like a slob. He also questioned how someone could get behind Zayn.

“My heat with Sami Zayn is, can I be honest with you, bro? Bro, you are in the opening of RAW, you look like a f***ing slob. You look like a slob, bro. And if I’m a casual fan watching this at home, if I happen to stumble upon this, that’s exactly what I’m saying. Who is this slob in the ring?”

Sami Zayn was written off WWE television on Monday Night RAW this past week after Drew McIntyre brutally attacked him. He will be taking time off for while, so it remains to be seen what Zayn well make his triumphant return.
