Jeff Hardy is universally beloved, being a proper veteran in the pro wrestling world. However, his personal demons have cost him a great deal. After crossing many hurdles, Hardy returned to AEW television earlier this year and now he recently admitted that he feels like a ghost in AEW.

After 10 months away from AEW television, Jeff Hardy finally returned back in April. He did not get to do anything much since his return, but fans were just happy to see him back on television.

Shockingly enough, the Hardys haven’t really been able to do much in the past several months. While speaking on The Extreme Life of Matt Hardy, Jeff Hardy admitted that he feels like a ghost in AEW, which he also felt in WWE.

“When I first came back, it was pretty exciting. I didn’t know what was going to be happening in the near future, but I think the last time I was in this extreme dimension of y’all’s podcast, I said that in WWE, I felt like I was a ghost, just walking around backstage. Honestly, man, I kind of still feel like that at AEW, just because of not being involved in something cool. I feel like there’s something so special that we (Jeff and Matt) have within us to really bring out.”

Even Matt Hardy acknowledged booking frustrations for himself and his brother recently. Britt Baker also recently expressed her own frustration. Regardless, we will have to wait and see whether AEW will have something better planned for The Hardys eventually.
