Chris Jericho is hailed as one of the greatest pro wrestlers of all time and there are many good reasons for that. Jericho remains loyal to AEW no matter what and that has paid back in dividends for him. Now Jericho has disclosed how Tony Khan prefers structuring ]AEW pay-per-views.

Chris Jericho and Kenny Omega squared off against The Young Bucks at AEW Full Gear. The bout saw Le Champion and the Best Bout Machine give it their all. Jericho and Omega would ultimately triumph and become the new #1 contenders for AEW World Tag Team Titles.

While speaking on Talk Is Jericho, Chris Jericho talked about Tony Khan’s methods for crafting AEW pay-per-views. He made it clear a lot of thought goes into each and every event.

Any time you have a little bit of a street fight type thing, [it’s like] ‘Should you put a buffer match after it?'” Jericho said. “And I was like ‘Tony likes to structure his cards with part 1, part 2, part 3.’ And part 3 is always match 7, 8, and 9, let’s say. And I don’t have a problem going on after that match. Somebody has to. You could’ve put on a nonsensical, nothing match, but to me, this is the way the card is structured. You want three exciting matches, and I thought if anybody could follow the street fight, we could. We did. It took a bit to get the crowd into it, but I was very happy with how we did it.
