MJF has been touted as one of the defining heels of the current generation of pro wrestlers and it is not hard to understand why. MJF became huge star in AEW in a short time and remains the face of AEW as the World Champion. He respects the business and those who came before him, but MJF decided to call out a specific group of veterans who talk down to younger wrestlers better than them.

MJF has been compared to one of the greatest pro wrestlers to have ever laced up a pair of boots – ‘Rowdy’ Roddy Piper. This includes Jim Cornette, who previously stated that Roddy Piper would have loved MJF. This comes as no surprise as MJF is truly a student of the game and worships many legends from the golden ages of professional testing.

MJF took to Twitter and called out veterans who talk down to younger wrestlers who are better than him and spent less time at the business than the veterans, making it clear the younger wrestlers should hold their ground. That said, MJF added that he never saw anyone who works in WWE/WCW/TNA/ECW/ROH/ GWF low level, superficially mentioning Jerry Lynn.

If you’ve been at a job for a small number of years but at a high level for a majority of it.

You don’t have to listen to dumb m********* that talk down to you and say they know better because they’ve been at the job for a large number of years but at a low level for a majority of it.

Respect everyone.

But don’t let anyone son you, ever.

I wouldn’t call WWE/WCW/TNA/ECW/ROH/ GWF low level.

Study the sport you love.

MJF is set to defend his AEW World Championship against Jay White at the Full Gear pay-per-view this month. It remains to be seen how the match will turn out, as fans want MJF to successfully retain the title.
