WWE is going through quite a booming period in the company’s history, and they are seeing new records all the time. There is a reason why so many cities put in big money offers to host major WWE events, and Indianapolis can testify to WWE’s incredible drawing power after Fastlane.

WWE hosted its Fastlane premium live event on October 7th at the Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, Indiana. Triple H announced Fastlane as the most successful event in Indianapolis, surpassing WrestleMania 8 in terms of gate revenue.

According to Brandon Thurston from Wrestlenomics, a report was published today, providing additional insights into Fastlane’s numbers. The event garnered a live gate revenue of $1,181,229, resulting from the sale of 12,046 tickets. It’s worth noting that WWE’s announced figures might include fees.

New data from Pollstar shows WWE Fastlane had a live gate of $1,181,229 from 12,046 tickets sold in Indianapolis on October 7.

WWE stated an attendance figure of around 14,584 fans, while WrestleTix approximated 13,022 fans, including those with complimentary tickets.

Possibly the highest gate for any arena/non-stadium pro wrestling show in the continental U.S. this year, though we don’t have info for Payback in Pittsburgh from September.

WWE claimed an attendance of 14,584. WrestleTix estimated 13,022 tickets distributed (sold plus comps). Paul Levesque at the post-show press conference said it was the highest gate ever in Indianapolis, which would put it over the Wrestlemania 8 gate in 1992, reported at the time as a slightly higher number, $1.25M. As always, WWE might include fees in their announced figures and Pollstar may not, which might explain the discrepancy.

WWE is still going strong as they wrap up 2023. The company is not showing any signs that they are slowing down, either, because each month is seemingly seeing another broken record in attendance and total revenue for their premium live events.

WWE will double up on premium live events in November, with Crown Jewel on November 4th and Survivor Series on November 25th. They will get a break from premium live events for December, but things will pick back up in a big way as they build toward January’s Royal Rumble event.
