John Cena’s stock in WWE never fails to rise whenever he comes back for another stint. That said, he has been a part-timer for a long time due to his busy Hollywood schedule. However, now an ex-WWE writer has accused John Cena of not wanting him there due to his Hollywood affiliation.

John Cena is a megastar in Hollywood now, with several hit films under his belt and many more movies in the pipeline for the Leader of Cenation. That said, Cena’s Hollywood journey wasn’t always a guarantee.

Holywood actor Freddie Prinze Jr. worked in WWE as a producer and writer from 2008 to 2012 and worked with several top WWE Superstars, including John Cena. While speaking on Wrestling with Freddie Prinze, the former WWE writer revealed that John Cena would scoff at the idea of going to Hollywood, adding that he didn’t want Prinze Jr. there due to his affiliation with Hollywood.

”He just didn’t like me, and I thought that was funny because I knew he would end up in Hollywood one day. And he was like ‘Hollywood sucks’. You shouldn’t even be here Mr. Hollywood.”
