Bullet Club Gold stole MJF’s AEW World Heavyweight Championship. He wants it back, and this week, it resorted to antisemitic innuendo. Now, MJF is speaking his mind on the matter.

During AEW Dynamite Title Tuesday, Juice Robinson pulled out a roll of quarters with “Friedman” on them. This segment was not received well by the live crowd, as it drew reference to MJF’s own childhood stories of having quarters thrown at him because he is Jewish.

Juice Robinson has been using rolls of quarters as his distinctive weapon during his tenure in AEW and previously in New Japan Pro-Wrestling. This time, it was pointed out that the act alluded to an incident from MJF’s high school days when bullies threw quarters at him, exploiting racial stereotypes against Jewish individuals. That struck a nerve in a big way.

This segment has sparked considerable criticism on the internet. The timing of the angle coincides with an escalation of hostilities between Israel and Palestine, with a recent attack on Jewish Israeli citizens by the militant group Hamas drawing renewed attention to the contentious conflict.

MJF logged onto social media in the afternoon following AEW Dynamite, and he had a lot to say. The Salt of the Earth spoke his mind on the subject, and he was quite blunt about his words.

Muhammad Hassan was portraying an evil Muslim terrorist.

I’m actually Jewish. I’ve actually gone through this. This is my real life!!!!! MY STORY!

And I Look forward to giving Catharsis to every single person who’s ever been oppressed or bullied.

If you think I’d play with that or take it lying down or WORST OF ALL Hide from the hard conversations like a coward…

You’re on crazy pills.

I look forward to the hard conversations this starts and creates. I look forward to people being further educated.

My life’s work is to stand up to any and all injustices done to people due to something as Stupid as being different.

To anyone that thinks that can’t be done through the avenue of professional wrestling. Then that’s an indictment on things that have happened in this sports past.

I look forward to bringing this sport into the present.

I look forward to knocking Juice Robinson’s teeth down his throat.

And most of all I look forward to getting back the Triple B!

We will have to see what happens next for MJF and the AEW World Heavyweight Championship. He wants that title back, and a match against Jay White is also likely. Only time will tell if he gets a receipt on Juice Robinson, but Tony Khan has a chance to pay it off down the line.

In the meantime, MJF will keep living his best life and speaking his truths on social media. It might upset some fans when controversial topics are breached, but entertainment value can be found in a lot of different avenues.
