AEW has a lot of things going on, and it appears that this week’s Collision had a rather interesting name backstage. It’s unclear whether AEW has their eye on signing another wrestler from the indies, but they may have had an opportunity to get more acquainted with one name last night.

According to Sean Sapp behind Fightful’s paywall, Vinny Pacifico was backstage at AEW Collision this week in Seattle. He also didn’t appear on-screen or have a part in any matches.

Fightful has confirmed that indie wrestler Vinny Pacifico was at this week’s AEW Collision show, though we haven’t learned he was used in any capacity.

Vinny made headlines recently via procuring sponsorships from Bang Energy, and then G Fuel. Pacifico recently wrestled at New Japan Pro Wrestling’s Philadelphia show. He worked two sets of AEW shows earlier this year, in addition to one in 2020. He also wrestled an NXT taping in 2021, and five ROH tapings in 2019.

We will have to see if AEW brings Vinny Pacifico in for any other reason other than to visit. His name could be a good one for AEW to sign, because they are certainly looking for the pieces to fit into the company’s current booking puzzle.
