AEW brought another show to Arthur Ashe Stadium, and Jon Moxley’s status was a big question after a reported concussion was feared. Now, we have an update on the former Dean Ambrose’s condition.

We previously reported on handful of AEW Rampage spoilers.

Jon Moxley lost the AEW International Title to Rey Fenix at Arthur Ashe Stadium. This was not the original plan at all, and some people were worried about Mox.

During his International title defense against Rey Fenix at Grand Slam, Moxley seemed to sustain an injury when he received a Black Fire Driver. It appeared that Moxley’s head was driven into the mat, and he seemed to signal referee Rick Knox to start the pin count, even though this was apparently not the intended conclusion to the match. Knox refrained from counting to three, despite Moxley not kicking out. Subsequently, Fenix executed a second Black Fire Driver, and this time, Knox counted the pin.

Many fans noticed this awkward finish, and there were concerned. Bryan Alvarez later posted on X to reveal that Jon Moxley is “okay.”

Adam Cole was also taken to the hospital. This was obviously not the way that anyone wanted that night to end for him, but Jon Moxley is apparently going to be okay.
