Sean Sapp noted behind Fightful’s paywall that AEW never considered holding their big battle royal in Wembley Stadium. Travel was simply easier for the company to make that match happen with Starrcast happening next to All Out.

There was never a serious discussion that we heard of for an All In Battle Royal. Instead, it was done at All Out, where travel was easier, made more sense and much of the talent was already booked for Starrcast.

The battle royal of overbooked stars still went off during the Zero Hour show before All Out kicked off in the NOW Arena. That was quite a match, and Hangman Page won to secure a nice win after Tony Khan neglected to book him for the Chicago show.

Tony Khan announced that AEW All In London 2 will go down in Wembley Stadium on August 25th, 2024. Perhaps, Conrad Thompson can arrange a Starrcast event for London by next year to make booking a battle royal easier to pull off.
