Torrie Wilson is a WWE Hall of Famer, and she lit up the pro wrestling ring for years. She also graced the cover of Playboy on more than one occasion, one of those issues she shared with Sable.
WWE and Playboy had a good relationship during the Attitude Era. Torrie Wilson received the green light from WWE to do Playboy, and she took right to it. In her feature article, she discusses body image, self-confidence, and breaking boundaries. She also showed fans everything she was keeping hidden on television.
Torrie Wilson’s decision was seen by many as a statement of empowerment and self-expression, showcasing that women can define themselves on their terms. To this day, she has no issues signing copies of her Playboy magazines at conventions.
This collaboration between Torrie Wilson and Playboy also saw them bring Sable into the mix for a big issue. Playboy knew they had money on their hands, because they put out two different covers.
Torrie Wilson jumped on X today and posted a little throwback. She also asked fans which issue of the famous double-feature magazine with Sable that they owned.
“Throwback Thursday: March 2004 @Playboy cover with Sable. Which version do you have?”
Naturally, Torrie Wilson’s fans responded positively to this post. They have supported her for years, and that’s not likely to stop any time soon.
Torrie Wilson’s Playboy days might be over, but she made a ton of memories in the process. Wilson is also happy to remind fans how much attention she had in 2004, which really isn’t that long ago when you think about it.
