Konnan means a lot to fans all over the world, but the legendary Mexican wrestler hasn’t been having the best health in recent memory. He needs kidney donor, and that time waiting for the right fit might be over.
Despite needing a kidney for all this time, Konnan hasn’t slowed down. He still did his podcast and has kept up to date with everything going on in the pro wrestling world. Hopefully, his time in search of a kidney is over now. The good news is that, as Haus of Wrestling first reported, Konnan has found a kidney donor.
During Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer also noted that Konnan has a kidney donor now. The only issue is that they don’t know if it will match. Right now, everyone is remaining positive about the situation.
“Well, they don’t know if it’s compatible yet. He’s been looking for what feels like years. He has a donor. He’s had people in the past who haven’t matched up though, but it’s still up in the air.”
Konnan has been on dialysis for a long time due to this issue. Hopefully, this time worrying about needing a kidney will be over very soon for Konnan.
There was even a point when Rey Mysterio’s children, Dominik and Aalyah, were both willing to donate their kidneys to Konnan. Neither of them were a match, so that didn’t happen.
