Brian Myers is best-known to WWE fans as Curt Hawkins, and he had quite a career with the company prior to his release. That losing record he achieved in WWE might never be matched. Now that Myers is in Impact Wrestling, and recently inked new deal, it seems that he is happy enough to wrap up his career there.

Brian Myers has expressed his desire to dedicate the remainder of his career to IMPACT Wrestling. That is, if they will have him.

The former WWE Raw Tag Team Champion joined IMPACT in 2020 and has remained an integral part of the organization ever since. Throughout his tenure, Myers has achieved success by capturing the IMPACT Digital Media World Championship and contending for the world title.

In a conversation with Metro, Brian Myers unequivocally stated his intention to remain with IMPACT for as long as possible, and he would even consider concluding his career there if the company welcomes such a prospect.

“If IMPACT will have me – I probably shouldn’t say this out loud, but I’ll end my career there. I’ll be there as long as I can because I’m having that much fun, the schedule is a little more lenient, it allows me to be Super Dad when I’m home. It’s pretty much perfect for me, you know?”

Brian Myers took a moment to look back on his entry into the company after WWE released him in 2020. He underscored that joining IMPACT has been one of the most positive developments in his career. Myers also highlighted his contributions to the company and expressed his genuine enjoyment of his time there.

“It was kinda like my whole world was spinning. Joining IMPACT was one of the best things that ever happened in my career, and I like to think IMPACT was pretty blessed by it too because I’ve worked my ass off in every situation. Also, I’m having fun and they’re also giving me the opportunity to be the wrestler I always wanted to be. The real version of me, not nibbling and crumbs and taking what I can get – which, hey, it happens in wrestling and it is what it is.”

Regarding his aspirations, Brian Myers firmly believes that it’s only a matter of time before he claims the IMPACT World Championship. He stressed that his relentless effort throughout his tenure with the company has made him an essential pillar of IMPACT since his arrival.

“I think [the IMPACT Wrestling World Championship is] mine for the taking. I’ve worked my ass off for the past three years, I don’t think there’s anyone who can say they’ve done what I’ve done in IMPACT in the past three years. I’ve been the workhorse and backbone of this company for three years, I’ve done everything that’s asked of me to the best of my abilities at the highest level, never disappointed, never missed a beat, represented the company at the highest levels.”

Brian Myers is still giving it everything he has in Impact Wrestling. Only time will tell how he is remembered, especially considering his run in WWE, but Brian Myers will keep entertaining fans for as long as he can.
