WWE Adds AJ Styles Match & More To SmackDown This Week

WWE is coming off a hot SummerSlam event, and now they are rolling into Payback. That being said, the company announced a couple of things for tonight’s episode of SmackDown a bit late in the afternoon.

AJ Styles and Karrion Kross have been at odds for a while. This week they will throw down in a singles match. We will have to see if Kross can topple the OC leader.

Also, Asuka and Charlotte Flair have unfinished business. They will go at it tonight in singles competition.

It was also ready announced that Roman Reigns will be a part of SmackDown this week. They will hold a “Hail to the Chief” segment during SmackDown this week. That comes after Roman was able to beat Jey Uso at SummerSlam. We will have to see what Jimmy Uso’s part in this week’s show will be.

Also, the United States Title will finally be defended once again. Austin Theory is set to take on Santos Escobar in singles action. Escobar had to win a tournament for the US Title #1 contender spot.
