Logan Paul and Ricochet threw down in the opening match of SummerSlam in Detroit. The two brought it in front of an excited Ford Field crowd, and Logan Paul ate up every bit of heel energy he received.

Midway through the match, Ricochet found himself on the mat. That is when Logan Paul jumped into action and broke out a new move that left fans very surprised.

Logan Paul did a splits and then dropped that right down as a legdrop on Ricochet. This got a two-count, but it was still impressive. After the move, Michael Cole explained that Logan Paul calls that move that “Hogan Paul.”

That legdrop is not the only Hulk Hogan tribute we’ve seen in recent memory. After all, CM Punk is also doing a legdrop now as an F You to Hulk Hogan. That is for much different reasons, but Logan Paul’s tribute didn’t seem shady.

We’ll have to see what Logan Paul does next in WWE. In all honesty, he still has no business being as good as he is this far into his young career as a Superstar.
