Kevin Owens Addresses Potentially Breaking Up With Sami Zayn

Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn’s careers have been intertwined for more than a decade now, which goes back to their days in ROH and PWG together. The two are now the Undisputed Tag Team Champions and with that, they continue to defend their titles with honor. Now it appears Owens addressed potentially breaking up with Sami Zayn.

Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens challenged The Usos for the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championships at WrestleMania 39. It was truly an emotional bout from start to finish. In the end, Owens and Zayn won the match and became the new champions.

After winning the titles, Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn have defended them valiantly, as they have been putting on solid matches consistently. That said, The Usos remain the longest-reigning Tag Team Champions in WWE history.

While speaking in an interview with Xfinity, Kevin Owens was asked about potentially breaking up with Sami Zayn due to their past. Owens made it clear a breakup will happen once again.

“There is one thing about our careers that can’t be denied. When we felt like it was time, we had no problems stabbing each other in the back and getting to it. I guess me more than him a little bit, but he’s done a couple. If we think it’s better for our careers to fight than to team, we have no problem doing it. But yeah, we’ll be tied to one another forever. There’s just no way around it, so we’ll see what comes.”

We will have to wait and see how Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn will continue to be booked in the coming weeks. After all, they are currently doing great as the tag team champions.
