Saraya is considered a true revolutionary in professional wrestling as she has helped establish women’s wrestling in general in a major way due to her time in WWE NXT as well as the main roster. Saraya also disclosed a bizarre airport interaction with an AEW hater recently.

After WWE decided not to renew her contract, Saraya made her way to AEW during the Grand Slam edition of Dynamite back in September 2022. She immediately made an impact and started feuding with Britt Baker.

She is now a member of The Outcasts and continues to be a true menace in the AEW women’s division. She also has a lot of fans, but that doesn’t mean Saraya doesn’t have her fair share of haters as well.

The AEW star took to Twitter and detailed a bizarre interaction she had with a Twitter fan who was an AEW hater, as she detailed how the fan only liked her during her time in WWE and more.

I met a real life twitter wrestling fan today at the airport.
He said “I’m a big fan of you”
I said “sick man thanks”
Then he said “well actually. I’m just a fan of Paige not saraya”
I was like “4am insult. Love that for me”
He said “I just don’t like aew”
I said “do you watch it?”
He said “never have.”
So I said “well how do you know if you like it or not?”
He said “I don’t know… can I take picture?”

Saraya also rebelled against WWE for cutting women’s matches short back in the day. Saraya is currently out of action due to an undisclosed injury, so we’ll have to see when she will be able to make her in-ring return.
