Damage CTRL lit up the WWE main roster for while as a trio, but the team isn’t making as much noise right now. IYO Sky is Miss Money in the Bank, and Bayley is still by her side. Although Dakota Kai is out of action with an injury, there could be a replacement waiting in the wings.

On the recent episode of WWE SmackDown, Bayley was at ringside for IYO Sky’s match against Charlotte Flair. However, she ended up abandoning her stablemate after getting spooked by Shotzi, leaving Sky on her own. The tension between them stemmed from a previous incident where Bayley and Sky cut off Shotzi’s hair on SmackDown. Shotzi made a surprising return with a complete makeover, adding more drama to the situation.

In an interview with Fightful, Dakota Kai disclosed their desire to include Piper Niven in their faction. Unfortunately, Kai is currently sidelined due to an injury, while Sky holds the coveted Money in the Bank briefcase, granting her a guaranteed opportunity for a shot at either of the Women’s Championships in the future.

“She’s [Piper Niven] amazing. She would be such a great addition to have. She’s so strong. Look at her. She’s our lethal weapon. She will be.”

As for the Damage CTRL faction, it made its debut at the SummerSlam 2022 premium live event, with Bayley, Iyo Sky, and Dakota Kai appearing together for the first time on WWE television. Both Sky and Kai have impressive records, with the duo having previously held the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.

Only time will tell what is next for Damage CTRL. Obviously, Piper Niven could really shake up the stable. At this point, we will have to wait for further developments, because you never know what can happen in WWE.
