WWE has a ton of possibilities when it comes to who they can position as future top Superstars. It appears that the company already sees Santos Escobar as someone they can really rely on.

Santos Escobar recently went viral when he stepped up to console a crying young fan during a recent WWE meet & greet. That moment meant a lot for that young fan, and it also boosted him in a big way within the WWE Universe’s mindselt.

Ringside News asked around about this situation with Santos Escobar. We were asked if this viral video helped boost Escobar’s name within the company, and we were asked a question in response that said, “what makes you think we don’t already see him as a star?”

Santos Escobar has a huge fan base that WWE fans might not even realize. He was known as El Hijo del Fantasma, and pro wrestling is in his family lineage. After all, he was brought into NXT as a top name in Mexico already, recently unmasking in an emotional TripleMania Poker de Aces match to L.A. Park.

Santos Escobar is in great shape right now in WWE. As a member of the LWO, he is certainly making an impression. He will also battle Rey Mysterio on SmackDown this week to determine who faces Austin Theory for the United States Title during the go-home SmackDown before SummerSlam.

We will have to see what is next for Santos Escobar. He never reached the top of NXT, but his journey on the main roster has an incredibly massive upside to it as well.

I love pro wrestling and hate BS. These two things drive me. Years of experience in writing, journalism, and digging exclusive insider info for Ringside News. Worked in finance before realizing pro wrestling journalism made much less sense. Pro beachballs at pro wrestling shows, pro dives if someone catches, anti bullies, olives, and pineapples on pizza.
